Question:

How can decrease my time in the 100m dash , but im not fit and my body wont loose weight?

im 14 going on 15, in qbout 142-148 pounds nd im not really fat im toned, my body cant get into shape.

  1. to be honest, its going to take some work. But u need to work on ur leg strenth (not so much on weight) because while working on leg strenth, we will quickly loose body fat and also grow stronger in ur lower body. Strenth means speed, and speed means a better place in the race.


  2. I like your statements, "My body can't get into shape",and,"My body won't loose weight". It's not your fault at all!. To increase your speed in the 100 yd dash,you might try carrying extra weight when you practice. Then take the weight off to time yourself. Good luck!

  3. My 15 year old daughter is a track star.....

    Im so proud of her, she started off struggling, and now she has went to state.

    You can do this!!!  Honestly..the way she did it, was after school, she did alot of walking, and then sprinting around the neighborhood...this got her in shape, got her muscles in shape. Everytime before you, run always make sure you do your stretches...and get your body prepared, or you can end up with a leg cramp.

    Your still young enough to get your body in shape..dont ever give up...you sound like a good & healthy weight for your age..

    Drink lots and lots of water...gatorade is good it has electrolytes in it, keeps you hydrated..The coach always made sure they had gatorade.

    Eat healthy and never give up...i have faith and you can do this!!
