How can deists, pantheists, and all of these other secular people believe in a God without any substance?

Many of the pantheistic gods and goddesses have quite a bit of substance. Have you ever heard of Zeus? He's almost as pompous, arrogant, and bully-like as your god.

I will answer for myself, as a Norse Heathen.  Our Gods have no substance?  My Gods have as much substance as your god.  Odin is more real to me, through the events in my life, and the signs that I see, than your jesus, or your god.  

We've almost all tried to be christians at some point.  There is a reason why we left.  Because we found it lacking, we found it empty.

The pagans and heathens on this group show more respect to the personal beliefs of both the christians and atheists than either of those groups.  We respect your beliefs, your decisions, although we honestly hate it when either of you try to convert the other, or us.
