  1. thats a very  hard question but id have to agree with jimboo on most counts, except that he isnt legally allowed to give his point of view on children seeing as he had a wee incident in a playground last year and is still being watched by parent groups and the police. his trial is underway at the moment.

  2. Well, just because a law is law doesn't mean it cant be unethical.

  3. The law in my state clearly approves of abortion, and it is mandated as such. My wife, who is a paediatrician, would find it utterly unethical to perform such a procedure. That is rather an extreme case, but it does address and answer your question. What about the strict catholic teacher who may be required to give s*x education, I suggest that person would find it unethical to talk about conception, even though the state law permitted the lesson. So you see there are countless examples of law and ethics colliding.

  4. here is a simple one.  The statute of limitations provides a defense to a suit for money that is owed.  if the debt is owed, then ethically it should be paid.  Legally one may assert the defense and then defeat the claim.

  5. if you are stopped illegally by an officer and he gets caught at it then you go to the superior and the big boss doesn't eat the ticket, then u citizen in charge are in an unethical situation. police and their cheerleaders always say don't do the crime if you can't do the time, so i pose this question when was the last time a cop got a ticket in his own jurisdiction, it's almost unheard of, it seems they are never capable of breaking the law, why is this, are they some how error free...
