I guess McCain made the correct pick for VP. The left is terrified of her. they've attacked her for having just a little more experience than Obama, they've attacked her daughter, and are apparently even scared of her accent.

simply put... she's being hailed a hero by the right and a villain by the left... before anyone has a clue...

I will say this though... I wonder what the odds are of a relatively fresh face succeeding at a huge national level is....it's possible... but I don't know about likely...

I know a lot about her.  She has been living a public life, it's really not that hard.  I know where she stands on issues and that is what decides my vote.

Because she's the polar opposite of what Hillary Clinton stands for: Women's rights.

Palin's so against a woman having the right to choose, she wants to repeal Roe v. Wade.

She lacks complete experience in domestic and foreign affairs.

All she is is a pro-lifer and a gun nut--which by itself is a contradiction completely.

You can't be for life one minute and then turn around the next and kill it with a gun.

It makes little sense.

I don't know that most people are trying to "persecute" her.  However, the election is not far off.  McCain picked a relatively inexperienced and completely unknown VP candidate.  What do you expect?  And, Palin holds some fairly extreme views.

I see no issue with airing concerns over a candidate that has no experience in foreign affairs or policy but I do find many of the personal attacks and sexist questions on here about her totally uncalled for and juvenile. It seems that more people here care more about picking on people than trying to educate themselves.
