ex: life in general; when you burn toast, you know next time not to leave the bread in the toaster for too long

realize the feeling of failure

ex: getting a bad grade on a test-study harder and try not to s***w up next time

both examples can relate to many frustrating times in life-you just have to rev up and start over until your failures become nonexistent.

Yes, you learn from your mistakes, if you s***w up you learn not to do it again.   Like in a job, if I screwed up in something I won't do it that way again.

Thomas Edison- he failed at least a thousand times but he persisted enough to build the lightbulb.

By learning from mistakes ~ which then, if handled correctly, gives us more inner determination & strength, which can then lead to success in other situations.

It also makes us a little more humble too ~ the fact of admitting to our mistakes.

failure can lead to success if you are willing to learn from it. here's one example:

I'm a 14 yr. old student (high school) and I, well, sorta failed my shop class. LOL. i never was the type to mend things worse make them. So I spent my whole summer vacation doing what I was doing at class. I thought it was boring but then I realized how stupid I was, arrogant in fact. My parents spent money to educate me, but there I was wasting it. Taking everything they gave me for granted. That was my mistake, taking everything for granted. I learned from it, and I  hope not to make the same stupid mistake.  

BTW have you watched the Forbidden kingdom? I know it seems stupid but the lines there were really wonderful.
