Go to company websites and apply.  Apply to companys in person.  Ask people that you know....you can even ask people that you dont know if their place of employment is hiring.  I went to hospital the other day and asked the receptionist who was doing my paperwork if the hospital was hiring and she was more than happy to give me information about their jobline, open positions and their website and I didnt even know her.

BUY a NEWS PAPER... they have things called CLASSIFIED ADERTISEMENTS.

Check with the local State Employment office.

Take your resume and walk into the stores in your area and ASK THEM FOR A JOB.

These are the old fashioned TIME HONORED WAYS to find a job.
