How can get a credit card in india (only experts may answer)?

i want to make a pay pal account and they asking me Ur MasterCard no: or credit card number ..i don't own a credit card ..and don't know how to make..what should be the minimum amount required to own that if u can help me ...mail to [e-mail]

For an NRI ...its little procedure to get a card and requires sufficient documents...

But if you are Indian and an salary of 8000 INR per month ...its enough to go to a bank and apply for a credit card!! some documentation will be required..like PAN card,ID proof,Address proof,salary slip etc.If you are citizen of other nation,it is only possible to get prepaid card in india...as you donot have bank records
