  1. I know a few people who went with a variation of the Disney Theme with their weddings and they turned out cute... some were way too cheesy and some were subtle and elegant.  So, if you do decide at the end to go Disney, it's your wedding... do what you want and don't listen to the haters.

First things first, you need to decide what kind of Disney Theme you are going for.  Are we talking Disney Princesses like Cinderella and Belle?  Mickey and Minnie theme?  Is there a specific movie or Disney character that if your favorite?  Once you've zeroed in and molded a specific theme for your wedding, then you can go with it and get on with the details.

The links listed below are pretty cute... HAVE FUN!

    if it doesn't

just look it up in google..and it will give u a lot of answers and websites..i just did it right now....

    try it...

    good luck

    p.s....invite me to ur wedding...

  3. for the ceremony your wedding party could be dressed up like they were at the dance where cinderella met prince charming...like pretty dresses in blue and periwinkle purple. you could walk in to like an orchestra playing a whole new world or some cutre disney song like that. for the reception room could have the colors of that castle thing in the middle of disney world with like periwinkle blue and magical colors like that. then for the centerpeices you could have light blue and purple flowers with fairy princesses in the arrangement. and a tall vase with crystals in the center with like disney figures. each table could be a movie. *ex: you could have a peter pan table and have blue flowers but with more greenery and have peter pan and friends in the vase suspended from the top so it looks like they're flying in the vase. put glitter on the table too to make it look like fairy dust from tinkerbell. you could also have a lion king table with exotic flowers that go with the colors and periwinkle fur around the rim of the vase with, once again, figures in the flower vase. that way the color scheme is the same but each table is unique* for placecards you could use the disney font...you can get that from font sites...i got it free from fontface.com. your cake could be a castle with like swirls that are abstract and look like the shape of mickey mouse's face. you could have an ice sculpture of cinderella's glass shoe, serve soup or something in a hollowed out pumkin and have little dressed up mice around it (represents cinderella'spumkin carriage that she took to the ball) and you could have a cinderalla dress with a poofy ball gown and a tiara and your groom could have a "prince charming" kind of suit. omg i have so many more ideas but i dont want to go on forever so i hope that helps! good luck!

  4. Walk down the aisle to an instrumental of your favorite disney love song  =)

(that's what i did.. although my wedding wasn't disney themed)

I guess the decor depends on if you are just going with disney in general or if you want to stick to a specific movie theme or character. Cinderella would be the easiest.

Try to make it very fairy tail like. Become a princess. Wear a tiara and a beautiful gown.

  5. It depends.  Do you want a Disney princess theme?  Mickey and Minnie?  There are tons of things for either of them.  Unless you were planning to combine them.

  6. well you should have a pair of micky and minnie ears on a headband they are from the disney shop or disney world

you could wear a lovely disney princess dress eg snowwhite or cinderella dress or a tiara would be lovely

for centre peices you could use like 7 dwarf statues and have them in bowls with flowers and sweets around you could have your reception like alice in wonderland scene

you could have your brides maids as like princesses at cinderellas ball and have your hubby to be dressed as prince charming

you can have a horse and cart to take you to the place of your wedding on google put horse and carts im thinking about having a cinderella carraige to take me to my wedding its about £2000

and you have white horses take you so its like cinderella which

    is totally cute

good luck let me know what you do x

  7. Really?  I'm not a big disney person so this scares me a little.  But if that's what you like, whatever you do, try to make it classy.  Maybe use little castle centerpieces (Cinderella fairy tale wedding theme)... You could have pumpkins as decorations as well (if it was a fall wedding that would be great)...

  8. I am having a Cinderella wedding on November 1st... but I didn't allow it to take over my wedding.  It is very expensive to do everything Disney. I am not able to go all the way Cinderella, but I'll tell you what I am doing to incorporate Disney, and please feel free to use my ideas and give me some tips too!

For the invitations, I wasn't able to afford the Disney CInderella invitations, so I used clip art and created a save the date card. Not too cheesy, but classy. Then, I had a professional stationary person create a Cinderella invitation with a picture of cindy and prince dancing attached to a gold satin ribbon on a flat invitation card with whimsical lettering. The invite incorporates our wedding colors (whice were chosen by my husband) Ivory, Gold, and Maroon (royal colors).

We are using sayings like "Once in a while... right in the middle of any ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale". and once upon a time, and happily every after... etc. I am also naming the tables with CInderella themed names. Having bottle stoppers with the words "wish upon a star" on them, a Cinderella and prince charming cake top from disney, My uncle is making my fiance a castle carot cake for a grooms cake (My fiance's name is Stephen which means King, so we are giving him his castle and favorite cake) Disney champaign flutes, centerpeices are a brown metal pumpkin with a candle inside with ivy spread out from under it... how the coach was created. Other candles scattered around. Tool with lights on our sweetheart table and cake table and hanging from a balcony ahead. I have disney coloring book and crayons for the kids. Also, the little boys are getting crowns and the girls are getting wands. We have a large family with many kids, it wouldn't be fair to not invite them. SOme of the little girls are dressing up as princesses!!! :o) A crown and ball gown are a big part of it too. Disney music for cocktail hour, and Fantasmic for our grand entrance. I even have an incredible godmother who is truely an angel on earth along with my mother. You can go and get those cute napkins that we decided not to get... use chocolate mice for desert or as gifts for your guests. Our reception hall is old world european style since a castle is hard to come by in eastern PA. All of those litle slippers and boxes are really cute, but expensive for something that will get thrown away the next day. Just get baggies or use aluminum foil! Even the plain boxes are more than I wanted to spend. We spent a little more money for things that would not get thrown away. Use what ever Disney ideas you want in your OWN way. How YOU imagine it. I didnt get to go to disney until this past August, and it was more than I ever dreamed of so, I'm still living that dream in my wedding.

My fiance and I both love Disney and CInderella was my first fairytale. It's my favorite, and no, I'm not 12... I'm 26. Everyone that knows me, knows that a Cinderella wedding is a perfect fit for me and my fiance... I dressed up as Cinderella for the past 3 halloweens! You want a Disney wedding for your own reasons... don't let anyone talk you out of what YOU want. I hope I have helped to give you ideas. Make it your own!

  9. Oh, honey...don't do that.

I don't mean to be rude, but Disney-themed weddings are so childish, like "I'm a princess just like Cinderella, because I'm the bride!!!"  I think Disney themes should never be for any parties other than birthdays of children under 7.  However, if you absolutely MUST go down this road, here are some ideas:

    Cinderella Theme-

Favor boxes shaped like glass slippers, with little candies inside

Hollowed-out pumpkin centerpieces with flowers inside

First dance to "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes."

    General Disney Theme-

    Mickey and Minnie cake topper

Tables named after various Disney characters, with something symbolizing each character as a centerpiece (Bowl of apples for Snow White table, giant top hat for Alice in Wonderland table, etc.)

First dance to "When You Wish Upon a Star."

But please let me try to reason with you again about Disney themes- it's icky.

  13. I think you would have to somehow incorporate Mickey ears everywhere possible like they do in the theme parks. There is so much you can do. What movies and/or characters are your favorites? I think you should a movie or character as your theme. I think you would want everything to unite unless you want a collage of different Disney characters, etc. I could see that working too. Get a Disney catalog. Get out your old Disney photographs and take a look. I am a Disney fan. I've been to Disney (FL and CA) many times.

Here are some random ideas that might help you.

Alice in Wonderland: Tea Party - Tea Cups - Mouse - Pastel Colors

Name the tables by either Disney characters, lands, movies, etc.

    Mickey - Minnie - Donald - Alice - Cinderella - Snow White - Sleeping Beauty - Ariel - Goofy - Pluto - Aladdin - Jasmine

You could have your wedding designed with an underwater theme - Under the Sea

With each table name - you could have unique center pieces that go along with that idea

This is going to depend on your budget how extravagant you are. How many Disney fans do you know?  Get a Disney catalog and see what you might be able to order to help.

Look on Ebay for Disney items.

Make it meaningful to you and your husband. That should be your focus. Disney should be in the background. It should help you to express how you feel about each other, your lives, etc. Make it personal. Use Disney to do that. Do you know what I'm trying to say here?

  14. Unless you're part of a polygamist sect, I find this question rather odd.

  15. First start with your gown and your accessories. Then colors like, pink, baby blue light and springy colors. You can do the sames for colors for your centerpieces. I would recommend that they be tall and full. That would make everything seem so fairy tale like. Good Luck

  16. hi..i am having a cinderella theamed wedding.  dont listen to people who says its not normal or tacky..these are the people who want all weddings to be white and boring and all alike..wheres the fun in that?  as a guest what will you remember..a white formal wedding or a fun theamed one?  the key is to making sure its classy.

for examples we are havign small key cinderella items in the wedding.  like a glass slipper will hold the wedding rings in rather then them on a ring pillow.

instead of numbering the tables at the reception we will be giving the tables names like 'the fairy godmother table'

i have the cutest kate aspen cinderella coach favor boxes for the guests and i am putting a chocolate mouse in each one

    http://www.kateaspen.com/Products/aspenP...

the cake topper will be a castle

so you see i am incorporating the theme into the wedding and not letting it over take it
