How can i Upgrade my PSP 3.9 to any latest version?

actually, i download some upgrading firmware from net, but when i start that psp upgrade to 4.0 , it startsa word PSP like im opening a game from my UMD then there appear the words " The Game could not be started. (80020001)"

please help me about these. .
