How can i add music to a powerpoint presentation?

I have done all the instructions on diffeerent webstites but it dosent work. I have powerpoint 2007 and i am doing a powerepoint for a project. i need to add this song i have. so far i have converted it into a Wav. file still didnt work. the file is 18.9 MB. i have tried different numbers with the maximum editing. i dunno is their something i am missing??????? please help.it is due this friday.

  2. the best format to use for a PowerPoint is mp3, as I have found out. If you can put it on Windows media player, you can convert from there. If you burn it to a disc, you can open it with Windows media player or iTunes into a mp3 format.  iTunes does not convert into mp3, but you can convert other files into mp3 with iTunes this way. To convert with Windows Media Player, right click the song and opt to send to the converter.

    After that, hopefully you should be able to insert it into your presentation.

  4. save the song in a file and then, go to insert

    then click on music and sound

    then click on sound from a file, and it should work.
