There is an Unbiased reviews and side-by-side comparisons of iPod Video Converter and gives you enough information to research the ins and outs of a particular product:

Some useful information you can get on the official site:

  2. iPod accepts only MP4 format video, If your video is MP4 video, just follow below steps to add video to iPod.

    1. Open iTunes and click "File" to add your videos to iTunes library.

2.Then plug in your iPod to computer, iTunes will detect your iPod as a device. select your iPod device on the left panel of iTunes, click "Movies" tab, check the videos you want to sync and click "Apply", done.

If your video isn't MP4 format, you need third party software to convert video to MP4, I always use Aimersoft iPod Converter Suite, it can easily convert video to ipod with high quality, that's really good, you can check it out here for free:

  3. You need a converter to help you, because most of movies/videos formats are not play on iPod nano directly.  I downloaded Cucusoft iPod Video Converter Suite to help me at http://www.dvdipodsoft.com/ipod-video-co...

This software can convert DVD's and videos to ipod directly. It's fast, easy and very wonderful. I think it is a good choose. You can download it to help you too.

  4. If your iPod Nano is the 2nd generation AKA the Skinny rectangle shaped one then its not able to play videos because its not new enough but you can buy a video converter for $39.99 and enable the videos for playback on the iPod.
