  1. 18 i think..... but just go to China, i hear theyre practically giving them away... especially the girls haha

  2. The age requirement varies from state to state. My state requires you be 19.

You should probably speak to a family law attorney in your area to learn all requirements.

  3. THEY COST????????????????????????????????????...

  4. You make it sound like something at Wal-mart. Geesh.

You have to be over 18, and normally, it'll cost you anywhere from 10,000 to 30,000 dollars. Depending on whether or not you do domestic or international adoption.

You can find agencies all over the united states, just google it and call some numbers.

  5. I wish i could thumbsup for joslin you hit it on the nose hon!

  6. I think 18 or more and that is full in poor countries or you can get a child from almamater.

  7. u can come to Vietnam , there r a lot of children desire to have a good family and a good mother like u , contact with the embassy in ur country

  8. Just a quick correction - in China both parents must be over 30 to adopt.  In addition, there are rules for income, medical history, mental health history, etc.  China does not use private agencies, all adoptions are through the government and they are quite strict.  They are not "practically giving away girls in China".

  9. First of all, if you are considering adoption, it is necessary that you begin to use the proper language of adoption.  Language is extremely important, because it can shape how we think about things, and the language of adoption is crucial.

So, we do not say "where can i get them" which suggests children are like puppies, or a pair of shoes that we just go and get.  Secondly, "they" do not cost anything.  Children are not for sale.  They are adopted.  And adoption fees cover all the expenses associated with providing birthmother services to all the birthmothers who are assisted through an agency.

So, that should help you get on the right track.  Also, I advise anyone to click on any number of positive adoption language charts and print it out, and send it to anyone you know!  Here is one of the many links:

    www.adoptnet.org/resources/language.ht...

Concerning how to adopt, you have to be 23 or older, which I suspect you are not.  So......spend this time getting a great education, volunteer at shelters or children's hospitals, or libraries reading to children.  Get your college education, establish yourself as a stable person, live a full life that you will then be able to share with a child.  THEN look into adoption in a few more years!

    Good luck!!

  10. Age varies from state to state to adopt in the U.S., and age varies by country if you adopt internationally.

You asked for websites, so my recommendation are these sites to get you started:

    General requirements to adopt: http://adopting.adoption.com/child/revie...

    Adoption laws by state: http://laws.adoption.com/statutes/state-...

    Costs of adoptions: http://costs.adoption.com/

  11. 25 to adopt in most places. The kids themselves don't "cost," but agency fees, plane fares, and other travel expenses sometimes run into the 10s of thousands. If you go through foster care (and you probably wouldn't get a baby. You could though) you'd avoid most, if not all, the fees. Here's a good site that gives you tons of info and a good sampling of the types of kids available for adoption: adoptuskids.org

  12. Awwww....Thats so sweeet of you! Call around to orphanges and foster homes. have fun with your new baby. Oh i think ou have to be 18 or older to adopt a child. Shut yp paganmom I will thumbs up whoever I want. Dont tell me what to do! Just for that I am giving you AND Joslin a thumbs down! TAKE THAT IDIOT!
