How can i advertise my group for getting members?

i want to have members from different countries. pls show me the way how can i advertise my group

* add the promote HTML code to other websites that generate many page hits- some pages also enter the site to many search engines and if the site has good key words, it'll be found

* craigs list is also another manner to advertise

* ask owners of other sites related to topic of your group if you can add the promote code to their site

* add the promote code to any and all of your profiles, not just yahoo's but any others

There are Yahoo groups designed specifically for owners to promote their groups. Here is a link to one that is very good and has over 6000 members. http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Group...

If you join this group and post information about your own group, make sure to include in the description that you would like to have international members.

I don't know the exact method. But i do know that women, all ways ask me to be their "friends" on my space. This is just to get you to follow a link on their profile that takes you to an adult site. Maybe you can put a link on your my space profile that leads people to your group. Then, start inviting everybody. Except me, I automatically deny those kind of requests. Just an idea, see if it works.
