  1. It will be hard for you to get enough money in aid to cover everything. I am a single mother of one son and a full time nursing student. I get more than enough in aid to cover rent, utilities, and extra money for stuff. The only thing is I cant work. The government gives more money to single mothers in poverty. If I were to work I wouldn't get daycare paid for or have health insurance. Its almost like you would have to get a divorce and quit your job before the government will give a lot of money. I know that sucks, but its the truth. The only thing you will be able to do is take out loans. Federal loans only allow like 3,000 a semester for your freshman year and it goes up from there. If you take out private loans the interest rate is very high. I hope you can figure out whats best for you and your family!

  2. Go to the FAFSA website.

    http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/

The site offers other links which provide scholarships.  There are tons of scholarships and grants.  The last solution should be loans, try only taking out the loans through the federal government.  Try to avoid private sectors for loans.

  3. This will be really hard with 3 young children unless you have a supportive, working husband. There is no aid designed to provide day care for ca child, much less three! You probably need to go part time but this is about you and your husband making things happen in our life.

  4. A lot of credits can be earned online. Go to your local job center or tech school and ask about online programs. As far as the classes that need to be taken in person. Many schools offer day care assistance or even have a day care on campus. You can also apply for financial assistance in you schooling since you have children and need to be working, you should qualify for some money, you would have to find out what your state offers though, I am in WI and it's different here. Also, where do you work? Many employers will help put you through classes.

  5.     There is a ton of money available for nursing students.  Google nursing scholarships in your area and apply for every one.  Apply for federal grants at your university.  Your income should qualify you for a lot of assistance.  Check out local service organizations.  They have a lot of money that goes unused every year because no one applies for it.  The Lions Club, Ruritans, Soroptomists.  Any relatives in the service, past or present?  Military veterans and their families qualify for alot.
