  1. go to your local health department and tell them you need to apply for WIC. i think your mom or dad will have to be with you though.

    good luck

  2. You have to go to an office near you (call 211-its free-to find a location near you, they'll give you the address and number) fill out a bunch of paper work and make an appointment to come back with the finished paper work that includes:

the forms and questioner they gave you to fill out

proof of pregnancy from your DR.,

pay stubs or proof of income,

    insurance card,

    State I.D.

and to attend an hour or so class that introduces WIC, tells you how it works, and has a WIC video to watch.

WIC is offered to qualified pregnant woman (doesn't matter how far along).During pregnancy they help mom with milk, cheese, cereal and some others. Once the baby is born it depends on your state up to what age you can continue to receive it(in Connecticut it's 5yrs old) then baby receives wic, not you, unless you breastfeed you get the same things, if not then baby gets formula and some others.

Also you can look up WIC on the web, its different guidelines for different states.

Good Luck and Congrats. hope this helped!

  3. Go to your local health clinic, they will probably get you set up with medicaid, I think thats the only way to get WIC since its a low income kinda thing

  4. Call your local WIC office or go down there and ask that is the only way to know what the requirements are in your area.

  5. You need to call your local county clinic. They should be able to help you.

    Or try this site:

    http://www.fns.usda.gov/wic/howtoapply/d...

They have links to offices and numbers.

  6. You should have got on it 6 months ago girly.  As soon as you find out you are pregnant you get a note from the doctor saying so and you go down to the WIC office and apply.  You can either google wic and you state to find the nearest office or you can call 2-1-1 they should be able to help you find an offic near you.  They can also help you with anyother things you may need such as diapers, formula, clothes, food, and other assistance.

Bring to the WIC office proof of pregnancy, proof of address, income, and ID.  If you live with family but eat your food separate from theirs then you count as you own household.

  7. Go to your local health clinic! They will provide you with all the information you need!!

Thats what my sister did and she's all set up!

Here is a website that you can use!

    =]

  8. here is the website if this doesnt work just google search WIC!

    good luck

  9. Here you go:

    http://www.fns.usda.gov/wic/howtoapply/

  10. I only have the Washington State national phone number but they might be able to help you. 1-800-841-1410 or go to www.doh.wa.gov/cfh/wic were the wa is in that just put your state abbreviation in there. Or go to your local WIC office (or here its in our health department) and fill out the paper work. Might also try to call your local health department that's who does WIC. And you can get it no mater how far along you are and also get it well for washington its till the baby is 6 months. And still if you breast feed but the stuff changes. If you don't breast feed then you will get formula for the baby and checks for you. Hope this helps.
