  1. The coast guard gives free classes and licensing information.  Leanr to read signs before you out

  2. Either join a club and get some experience this end (there are lots courses - RYA). Or get guidance from the person you buy the boat from. There are also outdoor centres that do yachting courses, plas-y-brenin is a big centre not sure if they RYA courses but thats the kinda place you need.

  3. It is very important that you do learn about boats, in this case, their engines and the sea. Even though the Mediterranean sea has very little tide range - unlike the coast of the United Kingdom - it does have weather patterns, particularly wind patterns that you should understand. All countries, particularly those with a Coast Line, have schools, clubs, and PORTS. Buy a magazine about SAILING, POWER BOATING, look in the advertisements, you can learn, or you can go on a charter boat to learn, but you must learn. I sail on the sea and have for many years and I assure you it requires resourcefulness, understanding, and knowledge. Remember - BUY A MAGAZINE ON YACHTING AND/OR POWER BOATING LOOK IN THE ADVERTS FOR SEA SCHOOLS OR TRAINING. Also in most European countries you will need to be licenced to carry people if you want them to pay, also your boat would need to be licenced for safety if you are to be paid to take people out fishing.

  4. A boat for 6 to 8 fish? did i read it wrong?

OK I learnt in the Sea Scouts, and have taken trophies for dingy sailing... there are many clubs that would help you... but do get some help because they can be dangerous if you don't have a little idea...
