  1. hi, this is my view on waste management

Wastes such as organic wastes.. like, dried leaves, spoiled fruits, food , animal, human waste etc.. can be used for the production of Biogas !!! which is quite useful ... it can replace  LPG...  can be used domestically!! plastic waste... should be recycled....

  2. If you are referring to not adding to the monumental amount of waste created everyday, then the suggestions are to recycle everything.

I know longer need to have a trash man as all of my tin, paper, plastic, cardboard  and glass are recycled.

Actual garbage goes to the garden to be tilled back into the earth.

Start small and before you know it, you will find a purpose for everything.

  3. what we do as individuals to minimise needless waste may make us feel like green warriors; but the impact is minimal compared to what multi-national companies etc are doing to our planet.

By all means make your small contribution by choosing eco friendly products and recycling whatever you can; but raising public attention to embarrass organisations that put profit above all other considerations would be more effective.

For example: consider how much perfectly edible food is thrown in the oceans by cruise ships etc while millions are dying from starvation.

Look at the bigger picture and you might appreciate the need to bombard the "responsible" companies with probing questions.  If they lost some conscientious customers they might change their cavalier behaviour.

  4. The best way is by generating less waste. Consume less, buy in proper packaging, etc.

  5. 1)  segregate  the waste  (  paper   &  plastic)

    2)  say  no  to  plastic

3)buy  and  use  less  (  no  to  consumerism)
