How can i ask "nicely"

Question

i babysit this 7 year old girl. This week i did every day except Wednesday( i'm here now)

She said leave me a note how much i own you, but that would be weird saying "YOU OWN ME" etc..

i've worked Monday- 9AM-1PM

Tuesday 9PM-1PM

Thursday-9PM-5PM

and Friday 9PM- until about 12 or 1 ( her dad picks her up) so estimate

what should i say on the note, and how much is that? I pay $5 an hour, and she knows that already.

wow are you at school/? Are you missing school to make $5.. I m sorry if its like summer vacation where you live i m in AIs .. see i don't know much..

I suggest you tell her to pay you whatever you want. Because im sure she knows how long and how hard you've worked. In my experience when they would ask me already knowing how much i charged..i would just tell them to give me what they think they owe me and the majority of the time they gave me more money than i would have gotten if i had told them to just pay me for how much i charged. i babysat for 5 hours once and they paid me 70 bucks..now they pay me 70 bucks every time no matter now long i babysit..they'll be thankful that you're so nice..cuz not everyone has all the money all the time to pay expensive charges..thats why they have a babysitter instead of sendin their kid to a day care. anyways its up to you..what do you feel like they owe you? you worked for her and watched her kid for her..aint no harm in tellin her how much she owes you.

Ok , this is what you say:

Hey,

I've worked  

Monday- 9AM-1PM (4 hours)

Tuesday 9AM-1PM (4 hours)

Thursday-9AM-5PM (8 hours)

and Friday 9AM-12 PM (3 hours)

That's a total of 19 hours, and at $5 and hour that's $95

Well you would have worked 20 hours, and at $5 an hour, thats $100.

Just write the times you worked and a little note stating that you charge $5 an hour, therefore that comes to $100

Okay so technically she owes you $95 if you charge $5/hr. But, i charge by day about $15 (depending on how the child acts and number of children). So, i would ask for $60. You should think about charging per day however much you want.

Tuesday- 9pm-1am = £20

Thursday- 9pm-5pm = £40

Friday- 9pm- 12am or 1am (depends when he comes)= either £15 or £20

So altogether that equals £95 or £100 If you don't know exactly when her dad coes then estimate around £97
