  1. All of the bellydancer in the bellydance superstars had risen to their own level of fame before catching miles copeland's attention.  The best adivice I could give you is to take or keep going to lessons.  I would suggest taking both nightclub styles (the ones with the beaded bra and belt set) as well as tribal style.  I suggest both because you are interested in dancing the same style as Rachel Brice.  She dances what we refer to as fusion because it's a fusion of two or more styles.  She generally uses a lot of tribal but has also had and uses traditional nightclub as well.  If you practice and develop your own style and technique and are able to reach your own level of fame in the bellydance community I'm sure you will be able to get into the superstars. However you will need to practice a lot and I'm sure they won't want you till your at least 18 so that you can easily go on tour worldwide without parental guidance issues.  You may be a bellydancer on the normal circuit for quite a while before you actually get to this level of professionalism though.  When your old enough, if this is really what you want to do you may want to take as many lessons with rachel brice herself as you can.  This my mean traveling the country attending her workshops or if she's stationary for a time it could mean taking weekly lessons in whatever town she's in (meaning an at least temporary move).  In general I'd say don't worry about the superstars... being a bellydancer in and of itself even in a small town is just as rewarding.  Among most bellydancers the superstars are not considered the end all be all goal of bellydance.  Many dancers have toured internationally before the superstars were ever created and many continue to do so without being in the superstars.  However again if that really is to be your goal you may want to start competing in certain bellydance competitions that offer a solid form of recognition.  This way you could start assembling a portfolio that you could present to copeand in an attempt to get in.  Good luck in whatever you do.

  3. Well, you are only 16, so that might not happen just yet.  How many of their events and workshops have you gone to?  You can meet them at the different workshops.  If you are an amazing dancer, as Rachel Brice is, I am sure they would take notice and give you a moment to ask about joining them.  Until then, practice, practice, practice...at home at the studio and with your group.
