How can i be a better flanker? i play open-side btw?

I'am an established rugby player, playing for my county with a lot of knowledge about the game so only expierienced answers please.

  1. dont commit yourself entirely to the breakdown  remeber to follow the ball and not the player hang of the  mauls and rucks  and always go for turnovers when  you make a tackle let the oposition know your there put big hits on them and terrorize the first five disrupt there game flow chase down the kicker  come in with a late challenge stuff like dat be a link player in support an extra man in the backline on defence theres a whole ton of stuff you can do


  2. Just play your position man. Always be the first one to the rucks and mauls (well atleast get front row in first). That what I say...you just always gotta be there. No hanging out in the back line. When in scrums always target the First-Five or number 8 coming of the scrum.

    Just remember, always be there. :)

    You arent eligible until 6th form which gives you only 2 years to compete at that level.
