  1. Well you aren't a vegetarian right now if you eat chicken and turkey. Didn't know there was a term 'better vegetarian', either you are or you aren't!!. Just stop eating meat all together, and find other sources of protein. Protein can be found in legumes, peanut butter and some vegetables.

  2. quit eating meat. if u feel guilty about it, shouldnt be too hard. i dont eat tofu really either. i like it though. rice and beans is like...my main staple haha complete protein for u right there

  3. Maybe by actually going vegetarian?

There is not chicken in EVERY food. When you go to a restaurant, it's okay to ask for something without the meat on top. It's really not that difficult to find meatless or vegetarian-izable foods. :/

  4. You should go on strike at meat processing farms and so you can say to your friends that not only you were not eating meat, you tried stopping meat processing!

  5. if you still eat meat then your not vegetarian now are you ?

you just cut down meat for 4 years..

if you find its that AWFUL!!!!!!!!

then stopping wouldnt be such a difficulty..

just think of the things the meat your eating went through..

have fun watching the video ay..

  9. uh. chicken is not in every food.

i have alot of choices and i dont eat chicken.

stop whining and just do it if you "care" so much.

    other wise shut up.

and you are not a vegetarian if you eat chicken and turkey.

  10. meat and dairy production creates a large air and water pollution. so this is a good reason to be a complete veg*n. and think of all the food that is made for animals, it can feed many starving children. I feel like if the food growing on fields for animals is a waste of time and energy.

  11. Protein is easy to get in a vegetarian diet and last time i checked, there was no chicken in fruits, veggies, whole grains, legumes, nuts, boca burgers etc. etc.

  12. Vegetarians do not eat animals.

Chickens, turkeys, fish, shrimp and clams are all animals.

A better question for you to ask would be how to be a vegetarian.

You do not need to eat chicken or turkey for protein. If you live in the US or UK, it is virtually impossible to be deficient in protein unless you are anorexic, bulimic, etc.

If you really do want to be a better vegetarian, the following information may be very important to your future.

Bread, pasta, cereal, rice, beans, peas, lentils, nuts, seeds, fruits and veggies can easily offer everything that you need except B12.

All vegetarians should take a B12 supplement regularly since most people eat meat, dairy AND fortified cereals yet still have a B12 status that is lower than recommended.

It may help you if you see proof that vegan people have the same potential as anyone else.
