  1. bleach it

  2. if you dyed it that colour, combined with your natural hair, it would very soon go ginger. alternatively, for a natural blonde, try getting highlights first, and the gradually add more in until you get a full coverage of blonde highlights. you have to get it redone every few weeks though so be prepared to spend lots on your hair if you go blonde.

  3. dye it white blonde.

  4. best place to ask is sally beauty supply

  5. Hef's girlfriends are the only ones who can pull that off.  Even they would look better if it was more natural, though.

They have the money to get it fixed every week.  Don't do it or you'll look like trash in 3 days!

  6. her hair looks fake like shes wearing a wig

  7. It's going to be hard....

First of all can you afford to mantain that color?? I'm talking going and getting your roots touched up at LEAST once a month.

Also, have you dyed your hair lately? Do you use hot tools on it like a straightener or curling iron? If so maybe you should second guess your choice. Bleaching it, or going blonde can be very damaging to your hair. So unless your hair can take it, I wouldn't do it.

And ONLY do it a salon with professionals that know what they are doing! DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS YOURSELF

  8. did u have short hair...if they were highlights they prob could not get to the shorter bits underneath. it is really hard to go from brown to blonde and it cant really be done in one step. You will prob have to go in stages having at least 3 sets of highlights and eventually having an all over head colour. Kendras hair has been bleached to achieve the white blonde she has....i would suggest goping to a hairdresser..don'tt try and bleach your hair yourself as it will go orange. They will prob use a strong hi lift lightener and then use a toner with ash in it to kill the red tones. its not something to try at home and you need to give the hair lots of conditioning after

  9. oh no that color is completly ugly don t do it

  10. Hi Christan,

Kendra lightens her hair with a double process blonding, which gets her to a platinum blonde. Her colorist first does heavy ( very heavy) highlighting all over her head and then goes back in and "breaks her base". Breaking the base means that another shade of blonde is put on her hair after the highlights to lift out the natural color left out of the highlights. My haircolor is a similar color to Kendra's. I achieve this by coloring all of my new root growth with L'oreal Superior Preference Dream Blonde in shade " Glistening Magnolia". I then go back in and highlight with Wella Blondor mixed 2:1 with a 20 vol developer in foils.

Going blonde is difficult to do on your own if your hair is a dark borwn. You can end up with orange shades in your hair if you are not careful. I would suggest going to a professional colorist ( preferably one who is specialized in blonde hair- not all colorists are good at doing this)  with a picture of Kendra to show them exactly the color you want to achieve. Tell them you want heavy platinum highlights and want them to break the base color afterwards.

I have an entire blog devoted to blonde hair, where I review products especially for blonde hair.
