How can i be a citizen?

Hi, I 'am Paul from Manila. I've been to the States last 2004. My experience was memorable and fun. I love evrerything about the US. Does anyone knows what are the procedures so i can apply for citizenship? I only have R B1/B2 visa? Do I need to have an employer first so that they will sponsor me?? please please help me. thanks

I want to appologize for the horrible answers you were given...America IS a great country to live in,and we were founded by people just like you...immagrants,you are doing the right thing by trying to obtain the LEGAL ways of obtaining citizenship and we welcome you to do so,you are part of what we are about,and I am asshemed of these other yahooers!!!believe me there great,great great grand parents were not Americans either...I would suggest calling our embassy and asking what the proper process is and good luck and welcome to America!! hope u can get in,its a wonderful place to live.Although,Manilla is beautiful.
