  1. Go on Youtube.com alot of ppl get discovered there..

  2. Please don't take my answer the wrong way..... But..... I have had the good fortune of working as an "Air-Personality" for a number of years now and questions like this always seem to rub me the wrong way.  People think the only thing needed to work in radio is a good voice!  That is not true.  There is much more to being a successful air talent than just having a nice deep voice.  There are many, many behind the scenes duties that the "jock" must do.    That would be like me saying, "I put a bandage on a cut I had on my knee once... I did a pretty good job... Perhaps I should become a doctor!"

OK, now that I got that off my chest... the best way to break into the "Biz" is to start off at a small hometown type station.  The best way to get in the good graces of the Program Director is to tell him, or her, that you would be willing to do some of the shifts that their regular jocks don't want to do (Holidays, weekends, etc.) A broadcaster that is "Hungry" for work will always be the Program Director's best friend!

  3. Listen dear before calling anyone CRAZY....look at ur self...U call ...urself as a person with decent communicative skill...THINK AGAIN !

For more information ...see u absurd answer for my decent question !!!!!!!

And plzz do not call urself DECENT...OK !

  4. You have a pretty good voice and a decent communication skills  Try to impress people and keep them happy with your talent and also there are lot of courses for DJ's You have to come to a reality world and focus on that to achieve your dreams. Take up those classes, it wont be expensive..

All the best and have a great success...

    :)-

  5. Really now I'm actually working on such a thing as well but I'm going somewhere with it I already am a DJ at the age of 14 at my school and am entered in state the first freshman in the school to do so My advice is this:

One radio stations want most people to be 16+ in age

Two learn new technology before heading to a station

Three make sure you can pronounce your words correctly ESPETIALLY W!!! That one will get you in the most trouble if said incorrectly.

Four make sure that you have a good ear so that you can do productions (Dj/Rj still do productions such as ID shouts)

Five You know the regulation of the FCC if not learn them they will come in handy no dout

Six you like the music you will be working with you will hear it alot!

Seven the pay stinks you make minimum wage generally enless you are on during drive time or you have a show

Eight be sure you are willing to be an unpaid inturn at first most of the time thats how you start

Nine this one may sound silly but keeps doors open and lights on when in the studio at all times trust me its a big help only shut the door if going on air

Ten the station manager is always right

Eleven make sure you can handle taking

requests from people and know what band they are really asking for becuase you may get the wrong one

Twelve make sure to memorize the Calling letters and the station number so you dont mess it up

    Thirteen HAVE FUN!

  6. Start podcasting man. or try out 365live. google it. you can get an online radio show that way and work your way up. also go with the youtube thing. just get your voice and face out there. get known. and be sure to mention RT on your way up!
