I want to be a seller on ebay but I do not have a credit card, nor do I have a checking account. Is it possible to participate as a seller without them?

  1. no, because you need a credit card to pay off the eBay fees.

  2. Very Simple solution.

Go to your local wal-mart or other stores and get a $10 pre-paid MasterCard, Thats what I have my clients when they need a credit card to sell.  A lot of people in these times do not have a credit card or if they did they shredded it. Another thing you might want to consider is to get yourself a paypal debit card. You will be dealing with paypal quite often being an eBay seller anyways.

    Good Luck

  3. Ebay does charge fees but it generally uses credit cards so that they can verify your identity.

If you do not have a credit card or a checking account, maybe you can try applying for a DEBIT card instead.  Debit card applications (at least in our country) do not require a credit history so applying for it is much easier.

With a debit card, you can apply for an account in PayPal, which EBay accepts and pay Ebay fees or accept payments using it.
