Question:

How can i be a social worker?

i was told if i had my AS degree in criminal justice then i can become a social worker does anybody know if thats true or do i need to have something else???

  1. Yep, you need at least a bachelor's degree in social work, and preferably a master's (MSW).  You should do some research on the career....it is a hard job...heavy case loads, and pay is not great.  It is a noble career...but hard.  And, you will need to get licensed (controlled by your state)...exam.


  2. no you need alot more than that, at least in Mi you do you need Ba in social work and MSW, your looking at 4more years of school
