How can i be eligible for a hardship license?

My friend is 17 years old. He lives with his mother and his grandparents. His mother works full time and his grandpa just had heart surgery and has a lot appointments. His mom is struggling to take his grandpa to his appointments and to take him to school and pick him up after practice. Is he eligible for a hardship license?

Check with your local DMV.

He can probly at least get a drivers permit that allows him to drive.
