I'm not sure what a "surfer type girl" is, but my guess would be to surf a lot.

And be who you really are, not who you want other people to think you are.  Being someone you're not just for the sake of being popular just makes you a poser.

be at the beach 24/7/365 and go surfing pretty much everyday! that's what i do!

for looks : have like dirty blonde hair , meduim tanned skin and be fit

you have to be really free of wat u wear , surfer girls like to wear bikinis as undergarments during school since they surf as much as they can! just be a relaxed style... and as they said , alot of love for pacific island culture ( hawaiin , filipino , indonesian ) . alot of cultures that have good waves in there country hahaha

and also you have to know how to speak surfer too hahaha ( but dont make it too obvious that you studied! )

Take it from a hawaiian...you have to care about the land, air, sky, and water around you, but not care about superficial things like hair and makeup.  surfing is a natural state of mind.  be yourself and just hang out.  i've always been a tomboy and my nickname back home is "surfa girl"  you don't get that nickname by being fake.  it's within you to know how to be....become one with the beach. and when the day comes that your walking around and the sand is still falling from your hair even after you've taken a shower you have evolved to the surfer girl you wish to become.

well. if you dont surf and you want to  act surfer like than you wouldnt be considered a TRUE surfer.

first act more hawiian-like. Then hang out at the beach more. When You get use to going to the beach a lot, buy a surf board. Take it from there.
