How can i be popular?

Question

well im 16 and im going to a 6th form in september so nobody will really know each other. how can i make a good impression? i dont mean being popular as in bitchy s***s i mean being popular as in having lots of friends and in lots of enrichment clubs to help my university application. thanksss p.s what clothes should i wear?

Wear clothes you like, realize that people can tell when you aren't acting like yourself, and be nice. That's all you need.

Popularity is rooted in confidence.  Be confident in yourself.  Know what you stand for and don't give in.  Don't be afraid to say how you feel, but don't force your beliefs on others.  Except others for their unique differences, while not backing down on your strong beliefs.  Stay away from the boys, even though you will be in high demand with your confidence.  And don't appear needy!  Friends will come, especially if you get involved in groups (clubs).

Read How to Win Friends and Influence People-your library should carry it. it's a great book with a bunch of practical ideas. Be a good listener, ask questions, call people by name.
