  1. practice with someone who is much much better than him. maybe after the long hard hours of practice, you might get used to playing at a higher level.  but of course, this won't be effective immediately. people say that if you play with someone better than you, you improve while they deteriorate. lol. maybe you should practice with your next opponent.

  2. practice...practice...and practice...

    make him run around,,,

    notice his weaknesses...

    improve yourself...

    get over your limitations...

    don't do much errors...

be confident...and trust yourself that you can beat him...

  3. The only thing I can suggest is to attack his serve and hit it into the deep corner, opposite from where he serves.  If he chases it down, hit it to the other corner to keep him on the run.

  4. Looking at the scores i have to say that he beat you convincingly.  what is his level anyway? i have to say no.  i don't think you can beat him any time soon. but you can work on getting a few games or even 1 game out of him first.

tennis is a cruel game; you can't "fake" your level. i heard tales like how Jimmy Connors beat college player 6-0, 6-0, 6-0 by handicap 0-40 each game.

But it is good that you can play with someone like him. it will help you improve your game.  it is always good to play up.

  5. are we talking something other than personal injury or blackmail?!

just kidding... keep practising, and at the end of the day its unlikely you will be the best in the world... there will always be someone better than you...

    but keep trying!

    gd luck

  6. With the previous scores, I think it would be nice to retire after trailing. Cite sore throat as a reason. Saves you from another love set. (Just joking)

  7. Read "Winning Ugly" by Brad Gilbert.  It will help you get closer.  You probably are not going to beat this guy any time soon.  Anything is possible though.  You have to have a plan, though, and this book will give you some things you can try.  Good luck.  And have fun!

  8. notice his weakness................use it 4 ur winning..........

  9. break his leg the night before u play him

    thats what i did lol

    hope that helps u

  10. ok. so this player is obviously a better all around player than you are if he is bageling you every time you two play. So.. i see that you have picked out one of his weaknesses. Good start! now you need to take advantage of that! if his weakness is just his serve, then plan out where you are going to hit the ball before you step up to the line. If his serve is not very powerful, try to get ontop of that and put it away straight from the beginning. Try to pick out some of his other weaknesses during your warm up time and make sure you take advantage of those weaknesses during the match (for ex: if his backhand is worse than his forehand, then hit most of your shots to his backhand if possible)

Remember that since he has beat you before, he is the one who is EXPECTED to win this time again...so he has more pressure on himself to win than you do! Go out there, start strong form the begining and make it your goal to get a few games off of him atleast! good luck bud!

  11. Take a bye.. bye laws..

  12. Sleep with his wife.

  13. Well A good way to get someone is to spin your ball when you hit it go in a up down way the ball will spin and be hard for him to hit and if he starts to spin his to you then try not to let it bounce b/c when a spined ball bounces it can go any way so try to hit b4 then. Also work on spinning while you serve. Google or yahoo search (Spinning tennis balls) watch a few videos then go try the best way to practice a spin by yourself is to just keep hitting it on the ground up and down way until you get it then got to trying to spin serve. Its a great help to win!!! he won't know what hit him.

  14. lol. my friend tries to mess up other's first serves by squeekin his shoes. if that fails, hit it deep, run up to the net and do a cheap volley. lol. like way off the the side, short, and low.

if that fails, practice, and good luck

  15. practice!

  16. This isn't going to be something that happens quickly, but you have to find something that you can control that starts turning things to your advantage.  Do you volley well?  If so, change up and come in more.  Are you in great shape?  In that case, work on hitting everything deep and making the rallies 20 shot ones.  It is so player dependent that it is hard to give a general answer.

One thing to do is to match their style to some pros that you see and then see what other pros use to beat them.  For example, one time when Blake looked as if he would take Federer apart, Federer, down 2 breaks in the first, found that Blake had trouble with a slice to his forehand.  Blake came apart after Federer worked him over with that slice (basically a changeup in baseball terms).  So, watch guys like him on TV and see what they are weak at.  And practice, and run, etc.

  17. Enahnce your practise level
