  1. train in muay thai, jiu-jitsu, wrestling, kickboxing, and boxing

  2. All it takes is desire and instruction.

If you have no background whatsoever, but a desire to fight:

    1) find a local MMA gym.  Not a karate school or anything like that, but an MMA gym.  If there isn't one in your town, move to a town where there is one.  Don't want to?  Then I guess you don't really want to fight.

    2) If you're too young to move, then start wrestling in high school.  That's the single best thing you can do to get foundational skills and fitness.  Once you're old enough, go find a camp.

    3) Don't know where to look for an MMA gym?  American Top Team in Florida, Ultimate Fitness in Northern Ca, Legends MMA in So Cal, Xtreme Coture in Vegas, Chute Boxe in Brazil, Militech Fighting Systems out in the Midwest, etc. etc.  All of these are top notch camps that have produced a lot of fighters.

Desire and training.  See you in the cage!

  3. Michael B is right, but I want to add two more:

Train in Judo, it really pays off for doing takedowns from clinch. Also you have to accept that the "martial" of martial arts means "war like" or "for purpose of war". War means two wills trying to destroy the other. -Inflicting unbearable harm until the other voluntarily or involuntarily surrenders. To accomplish this means you put yourself in harms way to be punished until you destroy the functions of your attacker.

You must keep your wits but leave your reservations about harming . Survive by destroying.

  4. Train.

  5. You'll have to get your cage some boxing gloves first.

  6. first u have to fight me. I say who can cage fight or not.
