  1. run long toss, run long toss, run long toss, run long toss, run long toss, run

your old enough to be lifting too.  get your legs as strong as possible thats where all your power is going to come from.

make sure you are getting out in front with your arm, taking your knuckles to the catchers glove.  this will help your other pitches too.  changeups will be slower and move more, 2 seams will run more and your curve ball will have more bite.

but the best advice is to be able to locate.  inside outside off the plate.  throw 2 seams in to righty's and away to lefty's.  jamie moyer throws like 80poo and he's a major league pitcher.  greg maddox is the same way but he has amazing command.

  2. ay im 14 i throw to get my fastball faster i lift a little but not that much and if your a lefty like me no need to throw that hard also i like throwin a 2 seam for a lot of movement

  3. hey i'm 15 and i'm a pitcher too

when i took pitching lessons last winter, my coach told me a few things to do:

bring your glove into your chest when you finish your pitch

make sure your body motion is tight, don't flop around

follow through completely with your arm

also, try doing lots of long toss and lift weights to increase your arm strength

  4. You want to throw harder. Simple. Throw Harder. This is the only thing that can help you with velocity. Throw hard and often to get better.

  5. practice...have someone to throw you fast balls and you will get it

  6. Keep working with your technique, and mechanics.  my coaches always pounded me with those two things, along with the flow of your wind up.

I'm not gonna try to change your technique, just make sure your doing things right, every single pitch.
