How can i become a policeofficer.?

If i was convicted of a misdemeanor when i was 17 and am know 18 can i still become a police officer.i was convicted of reporting a false police report.but i went to court and declared my self guilty and paid the fines and the judge said it was sealed. and what do i have to study to take the test for suffolk county police department.

    you are probably overqualified.

  3. You should be fine. Although sealed records are accessible, people can't just go looking for a job application and that's what applying for a police job would be. Besides, I don't believe that misdemeanors, especially one that minor, would really affect your chances. Just stay out of trouble and stay in shape. Also, you better be able to take criticism very well. Best of luck! We need more good cops out there...

  4. call Suffolk police station & find out when theye are giving the test or are they hiring but i think u half to be at least 21 to become a cop at least in arizona my son just went threw all of that
