  1. its really about being in the right place and finding good and legit ppl in the acting business. dont just trust anyone. try this site http://www.proscout.com/ its the real deal. see if it works for you and good luck. same dream here lol ;]

  2. to get on any auditions you will need an agent. a lot of agents, casting directors and managers hold acting classes. if your not there already you will need to move to where the work is going to be which is mostly so. calif. you can pick up a trade journal in L A called VARIETY. you can find  acting classes in it. also agts, mgrs, casting directors, open auditions. after you have had some classes when they think your ready they will send you to an agent. if your old enough to drive you can go on interviews yourself. if you get a job and your under 18

you will need a parent or guardian to stay on the set with you.

any set that has minors on it will also have a social worker from the state to make sure that  the set is safe and to teach school. if your old enough you might want to look into being

emancipated then you won't need a guardian on the set. you will  need to get some composits or pictures done. you will take a picture with you on each interview. most people start out doing commercials as it is a way to get experience and if

you get some national commercials you can make really good money. you will need to join sag when you get your first job. keep doing whatever you can to gain experience like school plays, theater take some voice lessons to learn diffirent accents if you can sing, dance play an instrument, anything is a real plus. good luck.

  3. The group you've been acting with is a "troupe," not a "troop."

Keep building up your experience by acting with your troupe, and by doing as many plays as possible at your school.  To find out about summer theatres and other professional theatres in your area, you can check your local phone book and newspaper listings, or you can take a look at the directories published by this company.

When you have identified theatres near you, call or check out their websites to find out if they offer youth acting classes.  Find out how old you have to be to apply for apprentice and intern jobs at local summer theatres.

That's not all there is to the professional theatre world, but it's a good start.

  4. audition.  look for auditions and casting calls here: hollywood-opportunities(dotcom)

  5. go to acting school. you can find jobs acting in plays when you are in acting school. also find an acting agent and ask them questions about how everything works.
