i live in arkansas & i'm interested in being a real estate agent. how do i go about doing that & what would the pay be like?

There is no pay.  It is solely commission and the real estate market is really bad right now.  Most community colleges offer a real estate agent course that allows you to take the licensing exam.  Once you pass, you have to get a job with a realtor with whom you will have share your commissions.

You take your states test and find a broker to hire you.

There is no pay, in fact you will be paying for office space, board memberships, MLS fees yourself.

You get paid after you sell property, between 1 and 1.5 the sales price is average.
