  1. sell your own house first as practice

  2. Many people consider becoming a real estate agent one of the easiest professions to get into. If school is required for your state, it will only take a few months. With persistence and dedication, the small time investment will pay off in the long run as you become a successful real estate agent.

To become a real estate agent, you must obtain a license from the state where you plan to work. Most states require that you have at least a high school diploma to receive your license. There are some states that require the applicant to attend a real estate school prior to taking the test...

  3. There is no pay.  It is solely commission and the real estate market is really bad right now.  Most community colleges offer a real estate agent course that allows you to take the licensing exam.  Once you pass, you have to get a job with a realtor with whom you will have share your commissions.

  4. You take your states test and find a broker to hire you.

There is no pay, in fact you will be paying for office space, board memberships, MLS fees yourself.

You get paid after you sell property, between 1 and 1.5 the sales price is average.

  5. join a firm and get your license
