  1. What kind of science do you like?  Take old broken stuff apart and figure it out, maybe even fix something that was ready to be thrown out, or modify it to do something different. Find a company or school doing research in your area of interest and ask them for a tour. Ask them what they do with surplus or obsolete equipment. You will be astounded at what they will give away to an enthusiastic young mind. Someone will give you a high quality microscope.

  2. Hello cuty,

The best way to become a scientist is by following the scientifical/enlightenment method: observation, definition, hypothesis, experimentation, and conclusion.

During the experimental process, you will need to seperate a  dependent variable [the chage that comes after changing an independent variable] from independent variable [ what needs to be change in experiment]. Do not forget that a variable is any factor that affects an experiment.

After the experimental process, then you will come up with a theory after analyzing the experimental results. Before a theoritical results is reached, it must have been tested over and over by different scientists. Never the less, a theory as time passes will have to be scrutinize for any error, then it will undergo some changes.
