  1. They have an army ROTC program called the educational delay program in which you can go straight to med school from college and then become an army doctor. The best route-college rotc, med school, and then army...

  2. BECOME A DOCTOR AND ENLIST IN THE SERVICE. ITS THAT SIMPLE.

  3. A. Go to college, major in pre med, get accepted to a medical school, graduate, then apply for a commission in which ever branch you want.

    Or

    B. Enlist now, (something in medicine), go to school during your off duty time, major in pre med (you can do this on line) then apply to a med school, graduate, apply for a commission, etc.

    Or

    C. Get an apointment to one of the academies, major in pre med, go to med school, get a commission, yada yada yda

    A takes less time.

  4. Try failing out of every other private university and then head off shore to a banana republic. That is the back door, quick route.

Kidding aside, get your degree and then join the military. They will put you through charm school and make you an officer.

  5. At the minimum, you have to meet the requirements just like every other applicant wanting to enlist ie. physical/asvab/HS grad

For health care professionals (nurses, dentist, MDs and vets), you must already have 4 years of college, passed your MCATs and then accepted to an accredited college/Med School.

This is generalized. I'm a nurse and worked with so many MD's over the years.

Best thing, get with a health care recruiter and sit down, don't call, and discuss things.

  6. i hear these guys get paid 5000 a day!

  7. go to college and then go into military or go into reserves after college degree and doctor degree

  8. Get a medical degree, attend Officer Candidate School, get your commission....what else should we say?  You got to put the horse before the cart, son!!

  9. Personally me i do believe that the navy has the best doctors.....i grew up around alot of military my fam is army though......if u wanna be a surgeon im not sure of the specifications myself but i do know that something like being a pilot ur required a bachelors degree and it might be the same for a surgeon.......go to a recruiter and talk to one if skool is required id advise you to ask about a college rotc program so when you join you would be an officer.....id do rotc regardless so when i join im a officer

  10. Become an officer first, if you are in college, use the OSC or ROTC if you are not in college yet. Recieve your commission and they will send  you to med school as a 2lt. The time in med school will be spent in the inactive reserves. All doctors are officers. To become an officer, you need a 4 year degree. To become a med officer, you need a 4 year degree plus med school. You do not have to enlist for this, it would be a waste of your time. You do not get paid 5k a day, maybe 5k every 2 months, but that will go up every 2 years you are in and every pay grade..

  11. Become a doctor first. then enlist. I think. You can get this info from a recruiter or the army website.

  12. You become a doctor "first," then you join the Army.

There is no OJT for that position. <|:-})-{*

  13. have a degree before you join or just join and get it that way
