How can i become an fbi agent?

so im 15 right now sophomore, school just started a couple weeks ago and i have decided that i want to be and fbi agent when i grow up. what should i do in high school and in college in order to pursue my goal? do i need a law degree or can i study something else and work for the fbi? whats a good college for that kind of job? i live in california also.

  1. depends on what you want to do for the FBI they have everything from accountants or secret things that only the people doing it know about. if you want to do stuff in the field your best bet is to get a college degree and join as an officer it doesn't matter too much then show outstanding skills in the military. the military is like a big interview for the higher up government agencies FBI CIA etc. and they take their pick from the best of the best.

    Those that espouse needing a military background to be an FBI agent are incorrect. While serving in the military can be beneficial it is by no means mandatory.

  3. Usually all you need is a clean record, a good degree, and have a sharp sharp mind.
