How can i become "Creative Director"?

Im in japan right now and gonna finish my high school in 2009.

I want to be a creative director(advertisement) in future and for that im planning to take admission in foreign university.

But i dont know much about the creative director.

Which course should i choose in university?

Which steps are included to become creative director?

Plz give me the brief information about it.

Since you are in high school ask your career counselor.  Maybe he/she can suggest a University to look into.  Once you find a University that will prepare you for such a career then you can see what kind of courses they require for you to get a degree.  Also try to get a summer job or soemthing in your field of interest.  That will give you an idea of what they do and ask them what they think you should do to prepare yourself for the career you want.
