buy a camera , take a tons of photos-have fun with that :) .. you can take some classes...that would help too

first of all try to look in a ugliest place with photographers eye ull find something in it...an art some beauty some naturality if u can understand the view than u can be a photographer

Yes, of course, you DO have to buy a camera first. But there's much more to it than that. You have to practice taking pictures, getting the framing and lighting right, maybe taking "artsy" looking pictures. Go to the library, and check out books on photography. Also check out books with works of famous photographers to get inspiration. If you have a digital camera it would make it cheaper. That way you wouldn't have to keep processing rolls of film and throwing out half of what you take.

yeah college would be a good thing and a camera would be good too im going to college for photography and the classes are terrific

There are many different ways that you can be a photographer.

First you must be very very creative. Secondly, you must be very focused on your work. And thirdly, your enthusiasm. If you are very talented for this job, I believe that there is nothing in this entire world that could stop you from being a photographer.
