How can i block text messages from coming to my cell phone...please read details?

i am in canada, have a telus pay and talk cell phone and some company sends at least one text message a day to my cell phone ...it is like a horoscope text...i have no idea how to text message (i know that probably sounds crazy) all i do is erase them, but the are costing me 15 cents for each one that is sent......thank you for your help!!

call telus up and cancel your text messaging service ,i am doing the same ting now for similar reason
