How can i boost my wireless range?

I got my laptop in today, and I am really excited, but i can't use the internet in my room. My router is a Linksys, anyone know of anything i could buy to boost its range?

there really isn't anything you can do. you can buy a new "rangebooster" router from certain routers. or you could buy a "rangebooster" adapter. fyi: "rangebooster" isn't a brand; some router/adapter companies offer routers/adapters with enhanced range

Maybe wanna try placing your router in the middle of your house(a central point) and in that spot give it some elevation thats what i have done and works swell.
