How can i breed african cichlids?

I have a 14 gal tank with 4 african cichlids they dont fight cuse the are young and have been together long enough. How can i get them to breed.

The tank is to small, plus you have to wait till they are full grown at a foot long...at least that is true for most african chiclids. What species do you have anyway? There are hundreads of species of african cichlids.

I agree that you probably cannot achieve this in a 14 gallon tank, UNLESS these are maybe shell dwellers and that would be fine to keep them in and possibly breed them.  This is why just saying African cichlids however doesn't say much.  You need to know what species you have.
