Question:

How can i build up my skinny arms!?

i hav no problem with weightlifing+joggin-i love it. but id rather not goto a gym YET, id rather have something to build upon whilst im there. I hav weights at home. Im doing weights, but my arms r still skinny! how can i bulk em up! perhaps some foods wood help? any recomendations? age-17.

  1. lift small weights its all about repetition. if you use to much weight it hurts your arms  


  2. low weights dont do SHT dont listen to the first guy u need to do heavy weights low reps and not just isolation exercise do bicep curls hammer curls precher curls to isolate bicep but that's 1/3 of ur arm and the other 2/3 is ur tricep u  waana do tricep pull downs bench press push ups and pull ups help lat pull downs all great exercises for ur WHOLE Upper body some pple make the mistake of working just their arms NO u need to work ur back chest and arms so u get the best arms u can and build strength u also gotta eat good u know chicken tuna turkey ham roast beef steaks whey protein egg whites eggs brown rice whole wheat breads pastas and cerals skim milk banana's oranges apples veges eat 1g protein per body weight and 500more cals then u burn aday make sure u workout using a good schedule i recommend max ot

  3. You don't need to go to a gym to build muscle.  Just use the weights you have.  Since your goal is to build muscle, you will want to use heavier weights.  Do 3-4 sets of about 6-8 repetitions.  Make sure to rest for a few minutes between sets.
