  1. Youtube is flv format, you must convert it to mpeg 2(dvd format) first, I always use Aimersoft DVD Creator, it can easily convert all popular video formats (AVI, MP4, MPG, MPEG, 3GP, WMV, ASF, RM, RMVB, DAT, MOV, FLV, etc) to DVD and burn DVD movie played on portable and home DVD players, that's very good, you can check it out here for free:

    http://www.aimersoft.com/dvd-creator.htm...

Hope it helps, Of course, http://answers.yahoo.com can give you more options

  2. You can have a look of below review site, which introduces the tool of burning youtube video to dvd and also provides free trial. hope ituseful.

  3. would recommend you download ConvertXtoDVD. Ive been using it for a year now, on windows, never had a problem!

It will convert your video files including youtube to the dvd format readable by all standard dvd players, then burn automatically to DVD!

it is easy to use, fast and it works perfect for me.. give it a try, you'll love it

    1. Download ConvertXtoDVD here:

    http://www.dvd-to-ipod-converter.com/con...

It can convert any video file.. like wmv, mpeg, asf, mp4, avi to dvd

    2. Add or drag-n-drop as many video files as the DVD can handle

    3. Insert blank DVD

    4. Click "Convert"

    5. Enjoy watching those video files on your home DVD player! =)

ConvertXtoDVD has a lot of extra nice features too,

for example you can make your own DVD menu or auto-generate it, add subtitles, auto-burn to dvd or save your conversion.

  4. YouTube has FLV (Flash Video) format and you need to convert it into MPEG2.

Now, I would suggest you do create SVCD rather than DVD- SVCD is playable on every DVDplayer, it can use regular CD as well as DVD discs and files are smaller. It does have lower quality/resolution than DVD, but it has still better quality than FLV. And when you do "upconverting", the computer must guess the extra info/bits to add (unlike compressing, where it could use algorithm so subtract the info/bits). So the more you upconvert, the more noise is created in the video. And there is no need to blow up the 30 mega FLV file into 3 giga DVD file.

    One software is described here:

    http://www.convertfiles.org/flv/dvd.html

But there are many more. I did it just once succesfully, but that was before my computer crash and I do not remember what sw I used and all my sw were gone suring the computer (HDD) failure

You can google "FLV to DVD conversion" and try any of them.

    Have fun... Johnny
