my mom and this dude that was cutting my hair said i couldnt have sidebangs because i have a cowlick (which i can blowdry down) but they said that i f i get it wet it will be weird, blah blah blah. so instead they give me this weird cut meant for my wavy hair, which it looks...poofy. however, when i straighten it, it looks awful, cuz its bluntly cut at my chin. i dont like curls and waves. i want some sidebangs but dont want to mess them up. how can i do this? and please dont tell me to go back. cuz my mom and the dude wont let me.

  1. i cut my hair all the time i usually cut em dry and straightened rather than wet so you can see the result right away rather than after if its wet you might cut too short...just section off your bangs from the rest of your hair and comb them down on your face cut them the length you want and put them to side like you would style it and you can cut them a tiny bit more while there to the side to even them out the way you want them! i dont trust hair stylist much cuz they always try get you to do something else or cut it diffent from what you want thats why im the only person who cuts my hair!

  2. Well, do you have experience with cutting bangs at all?

Either way, if your willing to try it, start by brushing the hair near your face (the bangs area) forward, so that it covers your face.

Then, trim it until you get the desired length for your bangs.

Then part it & put it to whichever side you choose. (:

P.S. Your name is amazing. I have OCD, too. Hahaha. (:

  3. why don't you listen to mom and dude.
