How can i change mp4 movies takeing from my phone to mp3 movies to play on my pc?

i took some movies with my mobile phone and downloaded them onto my pc but they will not play as they were done as mp4 can i change them to mp3 so i can watch them thanks

Well that is a problem

You can't have MP3 videos, you can have music not video

MP4 is the MP3 of video

You can get a converter on the web...i suggest Prism Converter

MP4 files are videos.  MP3 files are audio.  If you did find a way to convert one to the latter, you'd just have sound.

Anyway, it is possible to play MP4 files on your PC, but not on Media Player.  Just download VLC media player for free and it plays virtually every media file out there.

If you still want to convert you MP4 to someting WMP can play, just download a free MP4 > WMA converter from the net (just Google it- there are loads).

Need an app called quick time, or use VLC media player, I wouldnt be surprised if windows media player worked

Just get the movie on your computer and try open with the media players you have

like i said quicktime and VLC player should work

WMP will play your mp4's subject to the codec being installed.

If your'e unable to these files google WMP codec pack, or check out mininova or 9down. K lite is one to look out for, this also installs wmp classic and codec's that will play most files.

Be aware, because of it's popularity this codec pack it's not unusual to find a virus or trojan included; so scan any D/L's.
