You could make yourself a new s/n as you want it and then you can copy your buddy list off of your old s/n and paste it to your new.

You can change this by following these instructions:

-Login to Yahoo! Messenger

-Click on the 'Messenger' drop down field

-Select 'My Contact Details'

-Erase all data in the first, middle, last, and nick name fields

-Click 'Save and Close'
