  1. First of all I hope you are putting on a new pad when you get up in the morning, I do not know how long it is taking you to get to school. But I would arrive at school on those days and change your pad before class. If you have a  problem with the teacher, my parents went to have a talk with the principal, and that was the end of that. I was a very heavy bleeder and back when I went to school they did not have the type of pads they have today, I had to change my pad every 20 min. and the teachers were not permitting me to do so and of course this caused alot of leaks.

Make sure you carry alot of extra pads and are you old enough to use tampons? They would be something for you to consider.  Good luck to you.

  2. dont worry, just put it on. and if you get in trouble say it was a "girl thing" or if she still doesnt beleive you have your mom call the school!

  3. Talk to your mom about getting a menstrual cup. It's no worse than a tampon, even though there is a bit more of a learning curve. The best part is that you can leave them in for up to 12 hours or longer without the risk of toxic shock syndrome. Most are made of medical grade silicone, so it's very rare to get an allergy to them. They are anywhere from 30-50 dollars at first, but can last as long as 10 years.

Since they collect the blood rather than absorb them all you have to do is dump the blood, rinse, and reinsert. You can clean it really well between periods. I just got mine and it's wonderful, no leaks, no worry about changing during school and work. I will never go back to pads and tampons.

  4. Why don't you change it right before leaving your house instead of making yourself late for school. Or try tampons... they take about 3 seconds to change because you don't have all that mess. But if you want to wear pads, carry in your purse a small travel pack of baby wipes. They help a lot!

  5. That's ridiculous.

Tell her you're on your period. In private of course.

I've had that happen before & my mom scheduled a meeting with my teacher & principals.

After the meeting I didn't get any c**p from my teacher about it.

  6. Just tell the teacher you had trouble with it and she will probably be all like oh okay. And you wont get in trouble.
