How can i change my sky netgear router from a wpa key to a wep key?

i want to connect to nintendo wi-fi but i need a wep key, but the router has a wpa key instead....

If you are thinking of the Wii, then you can connect with no issues using WPA. I'm using a netgear with WPA to connect. Otherwise, what you can do is the following :

On your pc / mac, open a browser (Internet Explorer or Safari for instance).

In the address bar at the top, remove the www. and type 192.168.0.1 then press return

A user name and password box will appear.

The usual user name for the netgear is "admin"

The usual password for the netgear is "password"

Click "ok"

The netgear setup page will now appear.

Click on the wireless settings link on the left hand side.

This will give you your wireless settings / passwords etc. You can now select different security settings, WEP / WPA etc.
